This was my 2nd time going and was disappointed. First time the curry goat was so good, the oxtail was too big and cold but everything else was good. My 2nd time I went yesterday and wanted the curry goat but they didn't have anymore. That's the only reason why I came. But stayed and ordered the jerk chicken. It was dry and hard. The meat pepper soup was $30 for a small bowl. End up spending $60 for jerk chicken and small bowl of pepper soup. Feel like the soup price needs to go down because it was a small bowl. I'm jamaican so I know what authentic jamaican food should taste like and it didn't really do it for me this time. My friend order from brunch menu. Grits and shrimp and she had to send it back and just order jerk chicken. She didn't eat it. She took it home for her family. But I think they need work on making the prices more affordable because it's definitely not worth it to spend almost $60-$70 for one plate. The quality of food didn't match the price Will not be going back.

Cute place but the food could be better…. They were out of beef suya, chicken suya and that was the main reason why I drove an hour there for. Also the jerk sauce tasted like bbq sauce. Beef patty was great! That was probably the only thing I enjoyed.

Went for brunch and ended up having the afro caribbean platter. I chose jerk chicken , fried chicken, with jollof rice rice and peas and plaintains. It was delicious. Food is well seasoned. Others had oxtail and grits and they were tender and flavorful but entree could have had another piece of oxtail. The ambience was pleasant with dj plating mixing beats but not too over bearing in the background. Great spot for Afro Jamaican cuisine.

First let me start off by saying that the service is good. The gentleman that greeted me, greeted me with a smile and was really nice. I ordered the Jerk chicken with a choice of two sides, cabbage and rice and peas. My sides were on point, but the main dish, the chicken, was dry and did not have enough seasoning. Parts of it was tough and hard to chew. Maybe I caught them on a bad day because the reviews are amazing. Unfortunately my food was not.
