- MPMarissa PurvisSep 11, 20252.0This was my first experience as being a first time home buyer. The beginning of the process started off wonderful. The communication was great the sale person helped as much as she could anytime I had a question she was available to answer all my questions. She helped me pick out my home and I absolutely LOVE my new home! The problem came in after I was given my keys. The contractors that were hired to do the grading of the land did any absolutely UNACCEPTABLE JOB! Also my septic tank is sticking up at least two feet from the ground. None of my other neighbors septic tanks looks like mine do. I did reach out to the manager and explain my concerns and my frustration about what was left undone and he told me they will get someone out to fix it and I have yet to see anyone and this has been almost 2 months ago. I did have a repair that needed to be done and the gentleman that came to do the repair said that the manager wanted him to take pictures of the land to see what was wrong so I allowed him to take pictures and no one still has came or contacted me. Also some things that was told to me that was included in my land improvement allowance was not included. So now it’s leaving me with no other options but to take matters into my own hands. If your going to purchase a home from Crossaland Homes please be sure your getting everything your supposed to get and that your land is done properly! Read all of your documents carefully! The pictures really don’t do any justice! It’s just the best I could get at the moment.
