  A disappointing experience that still stings a year later. My sister-in-law and I make it a tradition to treat ourselves to one really nice spa day every year. It’s something we genuinely look forward to—time to relax, reset, and indulge a little. We had high hopes for this particular spa after reading positive reviews and making the trip from Austin. Unfortunately, the experience left us both pretty underwhelmed. I booked a facial, and my sister-in-law had a deep tissue massage. My facial felt more like a long moisturizing session with lots of random sprays of toner—there didn’t seem to be much intention or skill behind the technique, and I left feeling like I could’ve done the same thing at home. No extractions, no tailored approach, just… product. As for the deep tissue massage, despite specifically requesting more pressure halfway through, it continued to feel more like a Swedish massage. It lacked the depth and targeted muscle work that’s expected with a deep tissue. The whole experience felt lackluster and definitely not worth the price point, especially after traveling in from Austin for what we hoped would be a special treat. We didn’t write a review right away—we were honestly just bummed and tried to shrug it off. But after recently having a truly phenomenal spa day elsewhere, we realized just how much this one missed the mark. Would not return, and wouldn’t recommend to others seeking a high-quality, intentional experience.

  My wife and I searched for a bed and breakfast next to a creek or river. We found Creekhaven without knowing what to expect. It was the most amazing bed and breakfast with the best views and a totally romantic atmosphere! Amy, Angela, and staff are the best. They’re so friendly and are always attentive to making your stay a pleasant one. Not to mention the breakfast brought to your room every morning. So delicious. It’s a place to relax and enjoy nature. 5 star definitely

  Went into this stay solely based off of reviews. First visit to Wimberly and this was where we landed. Honestly, everything exceeded expectations. The location was more than ideal. Quiet and close to everything we wanted to see. The room was perfect and the breakfasts delivered every morning were wonderful. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. We’ll definately be back! Highly recommend!

  To all travelers listen closely, this is the best place in the entire town to stay not only is it very accommodating but the staff the food everything is excellent. I highly Recommend this property! And in response to the question about anything that could be added, that would be for a Treadmill For people like me that like to exercise while on vacation other than that, everything is perfect!
