Uuumm, how can I say this. Nice staff, food was lukewarm at best, not a big plate portion at all. Aaaaannnndd it all needed some seasoning!! Soulfood needs to have flava!!! Like, yeeeaaahhh, needed a grandmother's foot it in it for it to hit!!! But like I said, nice staff.

I went to place an order and briefly thought they sold waffles. The slim cashier with long twists had a sassy attitude, and when she smirked, she said, “We never sell waffles here.”
I moved forward with ordering the 3-meat option, but my cashier seemed very uncertain and spoke softly, making it hard to hear. She asked me what meat I wanted. I was confused because we had already mentioned chicken. The other cashier, with an attitude, asked, “What meat? A wing or a thigh?” I clarified that it’s all chicken and asked for wings.
When I asked if she was upset, she said no and gestured to the menu, saying, “The menu is all up here.”
I told her to attend to her customer, noting that I had my own in front of me who seemed clueless and hadn’t spoken. The slim cashier proceeds to say that my cashier needed help, so stepped in to assist, ummm
No, my cashier didn’t even say anything but stood there quietly.
I decided to leave. I didn’t purchase anything because the experience ruined my appetite. We went to Waffle House instead, since they had waffles.
This establishment should ensure its cashiers are properly trained, as today’s experience was far from satisfactory.
first time at this location was Wednesday and i did drive through waited for a while for my food but i see its made fresh to order so after understanding that my mood changed but the fried plantain was not cooked at ALLLLL. it looked fried cause it was dark brown but raw in the inside. as an African i can tell it was not fried all the way. Now idk how they fry it because of time but fried plantain takes a long time to really cook and i hope after reading this review they figure out a better way to fry it cause it was very disappointing. went back to see if the manager was around so i can let them know not that i was angry but just a tip or suggestion because no one wants to eat raw uncooked food. but over all the food was good love the biscuit and corn bread the hot honey sauce the chicken was good a bit salty for me but the sauce and using hot sauce helped. i will defiantly go back again
After having a bad experience with Cozy Coop in Marietta the last time, I decided to order again. I have a back injury and was really hungry, so I thought I would give them another chance. That turned out to be a mistake.
In response to my previous complaint, the owner mentioned that I should have called, so this time I did. I spoke with Dianna and explained that my food was not fresh. Dianna immediately said, "Well, we haven't had any other complaints." She then asked for my name, and after I provided it, she claimed that I must have the wrong location since there was no order under that name.
I explained that I ordered from the Marietta location. Although she seemed eager to dismiss my complaint, I pointed out that I had the receipt number. She then called out to her staff to verify if there was an order under my name, and the young lady confirmed that there was. Dianna told me to go through DoorDash to request a refund. I tipped the driver $15, so this isn’t about the money—I can afford the meal. It's about receiving old food that had clearly been reheated multiple times. The mac and cheese was so old that the cheese had changed colors and was inedible. The chicken had a strange taste and smell, which led me to say, "No way!"
The owner suggested I call if there was an issue, and I did, but the restaurant took no accountability and instead tried to gaslight me. I’ve had enough of wasting my money. If I want real southern food I will get it some place else. Cozy Coop Marietta does not care.
