    Wow! When $50 went to $100 with no warning I was pretty shocked. First it was because they tacked on some type of data charge I didn't need. Then it was just because prices went up. The lady didn't try to explain my contract or anything to me. She just told me prices went up and that was that. So I thought that's what it was. My fault for not reading the fine print, I admit that. The job of the rep though is to explain those things, and she failed to do so and had a NASTY attitude like she just wanted me off the phone. When I stayed in Elmwood, the internet was consistently out. I moved to Metairie and the coverage was better, but not $100 better. So I was ready to just disconnect if it was just the prices going up and nothing could be done about it. The customer service online is a joke if you try to chat. They ignore your questions just to ask you to verify the same five things you already verified. It's very scripted. They don't care. I would rather use cellular data and go to the library than rely on their online customer service. I figured out on my own that actually my contract just expired, and when I moved my services they didn't set me up for the very available promotion at the time to continue my $50/month rate. Cox is VERY lucky I went into the store. They turned a 1-star scathing review into 3, and I wish I could give it 5. I'd give those guys a 5. They were great. I love how friendly and personable the reps are in the store. They were apologetic for the misunderstanding, fixed my account, and I got a new router that was actually better than the old one. Cox needs to seriously look into their phone calls more often. The lady I initially got on the phone was so rude and disconnected me immediately. She locked me out of my account and I couldn't even pay my bill to disconnect! She didn't try to save me as a customer or anything. Cox nearly lost my business because of her unprofessionalism! Luckily this store got me back. But it will be awhile before I consider the phones due to how many problems I have had.

    I strongly advise against using Cox! They clearly stated the first month would be free, and I even confirmed this over the phone with their staff. However, I still received a bill for the first month. When I contacted them, they claimed there was no record of the free month and refused to resolve the issue. It feels like a bait-and-switch — luring you in with a false promise and then charging you anyway. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and misleading.

    I went to this location the other day and received excellent customer service from Rafia there ! She was kind and very helpful. Would go back to this location again for further needs.
