I had such a great experience with Debbie at Cox! She was professional, patient, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Debbie explained things clearly, answered all my questions, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about providing excellent customer service, but Debbie definitely does. Not sure where to begin - After three days and seven calls to Cox, I was still unable to set up fiber services to my new location. I visited the store and within <20 minutes, they were able to achieve what a total of four hours on the phone could not. After getting my account set up and an installer scheduled, I was provided the ONT (fiber modem) for my service to be installed professionally next day. Got home and reviewed the contents of the box provided, and sure enough, was given a DOCSIS cable modem gateway.
Now I'm being told there's a chance the installer may/may not have the equipment in the vehicle to perform the install, which was why I was given the CPE. If the installer tomorrow doesn't have a fiber ONT, I am essentially out of luck a minimum of three more days until I can get someone out with the right equipment, AND I have to return this gateway to avoid an equipment fee.
Cox does NOT train their phone and/or their frontline support for success, and I feel deeply sorry for those poor individuals in the retail locations when customers that walk into these stores and probably unload their challenges just because they're face-to-face.
Cox, as a company, needs to step back and better equip their customer facing agents with better tools and training. These people are the face of the company, and I guarantee they'd see a higher employee retention rate and satisfaction if they weren't just pushed out of the nest unprepared.

Great experience at this Cox store! Debbie was so helpful with my account, she was an excellent listener and remedied my issue quickly. It was so reassuring to speak with someone who cared about the problem I was having and wanted to find solutions. Very glad I was able to work with her ☺️

Antonio is phenomenal! 1) He was extremely friendly, but never sacrificed professionalism. 2) He was able to explain things very simply and clearly. No extra BS. 3) He helped me reduce my monthly bill by $15!!!
