  It's not worth it unless you actually need fiber and they are the only ones. After leaving Cox years ago (2018) due to poor customer service they have managed to continue being a terrible provider. They were unreliable and did not show up to install. I called customer service multiple times and they assure me the service folks were coming. They did not show up, and there was no direct communication with the folks in the field. Wasted a day. I was unable to cancel over the phone due to multiple accounts existing in their Database because they did not remove the old one, so the pin they issued me did not work. Now I am waiting 10 working days for a refund that is going to require additional action on my end rather than just refund my card. Huge waste of time and the organization is still heavy with bureaucracy.

  Cox is a horrible company they charge 150$ the first month just for a wire that took the dude 5 minutes to plug in then they charge fees when they claim they don’t. The guy told me they weren’t gonna charge a fee since it was just plugging in a wire. I spoke with representative they don’t tell the truth here. They also overcharge for the most basic service the first two months ended up being 300$ just go to atnt at this point. Not worth it at all for all the trouble especially since they don’t even answer the phone. The customer service is a complete joke. The only good thing is the speed in my area it is good but with atnt they don’t reach my area so I’m forced to have cox. But it’s insane that I spent over an hour trying to reach someone and still haven’t been helped. So they lied about it being free to set up then they lie again saying if I make a payment my service wouldn’t Be cancelled or affected until the next billing period then I see they charged me a couple days after and my bill isn’t even until 11th October straight lying pathetic losers here. Should be illegal how they lie to your face don’t trust cox.
