How is this company even still a business? They are the absolute worst through and through in every department. Not only do they have terrible customer service and no problem is ever resolved in one phone call, but they are literally robbing everyone who uses them…. My elderly parents have been customers for way too long of Cox, and are paying an upwards of $300 for cable/internet. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Nobody pays that much for cable and internet anymore, no body. My father who was the account holder, just passed away last week and my mother has been trying to get them to take him off the account or close the account so she can now be the account holder. Nobody can seem to help her over the phone without transferring her to 4 other people and the issue STILL not getting resolved. Un-freaking-believable!!!!!! 0/10 stars. This company is TRASH.

I wish I could give zero stars right now. Went in to change my Internet service to a new address. I was convinced to switch to Cox Mobile for a lower price than what I was paying with AT&T. Wasn’t going to at first, but the deal I was told I was getting would save me $70/mo, including insurance on my phones (two lines), and we would get two FREE iPhone 15s. I thought the deal was too good to be true, so I asked the sales rep, Nathan, multiple times what my final bill would be and if there were any hidden fees, etc. He assured me what the total price my bill would be per month and that the phones were free for switching over to Cox Mobile (15s were free, 16s would’ve had a charge - so we picked the 15s). Well, I’m now paying $60 more than what I was promised because I am being charged monthly installments for both phones for the next two years. My receipt shows them as free, and a customer service agent said she saw the free promo on my account, but that it was removed for some reason. I would have never switched over my cell phone plan to Cox if I knew this would happen. Worst part is that I don’t even have reception when I’m at work now when it was just fine while I had AT&T. My advice…do not believe a word the reps say when they’re upselling you or convincing you to switch to them for a service you have elsewhere. I originally thought my interaction with Nathan was quite enjoyable - until I realized I had been lied to. Now I’m fighting with Customer Service to try to have it rectified. The agent I spoke to on the phone last week was helpful and escalated the case. Tried checking up on the status with the chat agent while I was working today and he was incompetent (giving me wrong billing info that didn’t match what was on my statement, said I was going to be given a discount to fix the situation…but then quoted me at the same exact price I’m already paying, and then he wouldn’t escalate me to his supervisor). So now I gotta waste more time on the phone with Customer Service later today since they seem to be the only ones who know what they’re doing.

Called the store after being directed there by Tech Support. Clearly did not have time to deal with my phone call.

Nathan, Mel and the manager were amazing. Professional, kind, honest and personable. A big thank you to these 3 dream team that put in that extra effort and made our experience 10/10. Would recommend this location very much.

Went to the Enfield store to upgrade internet and wifi devices after buying a new 4K TV. Old gray hair and beard guy that other people mentioned in prior reviews was clearly inconvenienced by my visit. He told me I already had the most up to date cable box which was at least 5 years old… Had to reference info from website before he offered the newer model. Then, he told me there’d be no difference in the new box because no cable company offers 4K signal which is untrue. Then he had the nerve to tell me the new box can “only” connect to the internet modem via wifi. I pointed to the ethernet port on the cable box and asked “well then what’s this for?” Made up a lie on the spot and told me it was “for future technology”. What a clown. 🤡 I immediately connected the boxes via ethernet when I got home and it worked instantly. What’s the point of lying about that? Is he just incompetent or a habitual liar? Either way, gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I walked in without an appointment and was acknowledged by another fella as soon as I walked in. Gray beard guy needs to go.
