Country Pumpkins was founded in 2000 by the Colson and Pennington families as a simple pumpkin sales business with an honesty box by the road. By 2009 it had grown into a complete Fall Festival and Fall Tour operation. Our farm, Alpine Hills Dairy Farm, was established in 1947 in Corinth, KY by Papaw Joe Colson when he purchased his first few Brown Swiss Cows from Illinois. The farm is now relocated to Dry Ridge and owned by Papaw Joe’s son, Dean, and Dean's wife, Debbie. While they are no longer milking commercially as of last winter, they are still milking a smaller herd and selling the milk directly from the farm as part of their cow share program. For more information on how to buy milk, call Dean at 859-242-0635.

The kids absolutely loved it. Best bet is to get the $22 pass, including adults, even if it is a bit more than you would spend at the other pumpkin farms up north. The kids loved the large corn maze, petting zoo area, hayride, and the slides were a hit too. They absolutely loved the paintball guns and the pumpkin slingshot. You only get so many shots but because the adults pay as well you can give the kids your shots for double the fun. Food was well priced and the kids loved it, oh and the slushies were awesome as well. I think we spent about 3-4 hours there so budget some time. Great fun! We will be back next year!

We had a wonderful day at Country Pumpkins with our family. Lots of activities for our 2 year old granddaughter to enjoy and the weather was perfect! We will definitely be back.

A fun place for children and grandchildren. Lots to do, very safe, and well organized. Reasonably priced. A memorable family experience.

My husband and I went there for our autistic grandsons 5th birthday. For his age group it's alright. I didn't leave the shelter area myself but I didn't really see much that was adult friendly. But it is a good place to take young children.

We loved our visit to Country Pumpkins! This is our favorite pumpkin patch because of all the things to do! The slides, hayride, mazes, corn boxes and animals were wonderful. Well run and great employees! The Caramel Apple Slushie was delicious too. We will see you again next year!
