Consumer Direct Care Network Virginia (CDVA) serves as a Fiscal/Employer Agent (F/EA) for older adults and individuals with physical, intellectual, or developmental disabilities who elect to self-direct their care so they can remain safe, healthy, and independent in their homes and communities. We work with the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs). With these services, you have more choice and control over the care you receive and the person who provides that care.

    I had an extremely hard time straightening out an issue I had about an attendant being live in. I had one employee at Consumer direct to tell me there was nothing wrong not to worry about it and then my services was suspended. I called back and talked with three more employees who could not straighten it out. Finally, I asked to speak with a supervisor and I was put in touch with Lorrell Walker. Ms. Walker was extremely helpful. Knew her job well very kind and courteous. She Did everything she said she was going to including calling me back to make sure everything was taken care of, very true to her word. Thanks you Lorrell

    very complicated process to get paid for some attednant care hours from june 2024 and i done all this in december 2024 and they told me it will take maximum 40 days to be processed and then i keep follow up with them every couple weeks and every they give different reason that i don't receiving my payment and sometimes they was asking to refill this complicated forms and at the end they tell since it pass one year from the date of the payment we can't process it for you even it wasn't your fault but this our rules. i don't know what i should say but really they are a laziest place i had ever deal with in this country, scam i don't recommend this place to anybody to deal with.

    Today I spent over an hour with Maurice on the phone trying to set up my directmycare account. . For someone who is not computer savvy but not stupid it has been a very stressful and unnecessary ordeal. But today Maurice was the first( in the last 6 weeks) who successfully helped me. Most of all he was super patient with my lack of computer skill never once making me feel like an idiot, He answered all the questions I had in a way I could finally understand the program. And I ask alot of questions! When you need help,have questions and do not understand the program ask for Maurice. He will get the job done.

    Had the best of the best CS interaction with Aquiliah on 8/26/25 an with Ms.Roger today 8/27/25 to complete my online EOR application. High level of patience an joyful interaction from both. Not everyday one gets the service these ladies provided to me. Getting the task completed. Much love an thanks to both.
