Comforting Care Veterinary Services provides hospice care, pallative care, at-home euthanasia, acupuntcure, and aftercare arrangements to the Brewster, NY area.
During one of the most heartbreaking moments for our family—the passing of our beloved dog Beans—we were fortunate to be in the care of Dr. Lisa Walling and her office manager Jessica. Their professionalism, empathy, and grace made an unbearable experience feel gently supported and deeply respected.
From the moment we first contacted to arrange at home euthanasia to the day of, Dr. Walling and Jessica treated Beans and our family with the utmost courtesy and kindness. They were patient, never rushed us, and allowed us all the time we needed to say goodbye.
They explained the process thoroughly so we understood what would take place and always has their clients best interests so they are confortable. Dr. Walling’s gentle demeanor and clear communication helped us feel informed and comforted throughout the process. Jessica was equally compassionate, handling every detail—from paperwork to final arrangements—with care and dignity, offering pet loss support as well. The cremation and final gifts were managed with a sense of importance that truly reflected how much Beans meant to us.
This team didn’t just provide veterinary services—they offered a sanctuary of empathy and professionalism when we needed it most. We are forever grateful for the way they honored Beans’ life and supported ours in her final moments. Thank you 🙏

Dr. Lisa was amazing..whoever this person is leaving a 1 star review..honestly, I pity them. Dr Walling is kind and compassionate, all this extraneous bs about "stuff", its all so trivial. The most important thing is that your cat crossed over painlessly, with dignity. She was recommended by someone close to me, and I will be forever grateful for such a peaceful experience...she is an earth angel

Lisa was so tender during such a difficult time for our family. Putting my dog down was so hard to deal with and I couldn’t have imagined a more equipped person to handle it. I was a mess and she navigated that so expertly. Thank you!
