Marquita P. was a wonderful compassionate caregiver to my father in law. She cooked w/ him, played dominos, and was a sweet companion to him. We loved having her in our home!

On October 10, 2023, during orientation at Comfort Keepers, the care coordinator, Jessica, made repeated inappropriate comments about my body size in front of others, including: * "You're so skinny," * "The belt could wrap around her three times," * "I'm jealous, she's so skinny." These remarks were unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected in what should have been a safe environment. It's worth noting that the training room--where this happened--was the only room without cameras at the time. This was later addressed, but it highlights how easy it was for inappropriate behavior to go unchecked. Body shaming has no place in any workplace. -- Kholback/Nefertiti
