Went over the system with me to remind me of the gauge that tells you when the filters need changing ( the gauge said it is time). He replaced the necessary filters and we were back in business! - LLLinda LarsonAug 25, 20252.0Cautionary tale: We had an instant hot water heater at our cabin that had been failing to heat for a while and we had difficulty getting a plumber up to look at it. We were relieved that this outfit did make the trip. The 2 repairmen were super nice, seemed very competent but their efforts at repairing it failed. So the next option was to replace it. The bid? $6500. Mind you, a brand new Rheem tankless hot water heater is $850 at Home Depot. There are like 5 things to hook up once you mount it on the wall. I assume it would take them an hour, maybe two, to install it. We sent them home and bought one from Home Depot and installed it ourselves. Honestly, we were shocked and dismayed at such a high bid for such a simple installation. We won't be calling them again.
