  I can not recommend this company. While we did have a very good experience with Kristi in their office...the lawyer they use there to advise them was completely unreasonable in their demands relative to title/plat requirements. In spite of us providing very reasonable arguments and paperwork their lawyer failed to listen to reason. This caused our closing to be pushed back two months and cost me $2500 in an unnecessary new survey I had to pay for. This survey was ridiculous as it simply showed everything we'd already shown them with other available plats...right down to the pins being in the exact same locations. This is a brief summation of a long, drawn out and frustrating experience. When the time comes for me to sell a very expensive piece of real estate I will inherit in Virginia...any sale will require that the buyer NOT be using this company as their title company...that is how committed I am to being sure I never work with them again.

  Uneducated on COVID. Out of courtesy, a positive case within our family was shared as we approached closing. Despite clear CDC guidelines of appropriate discontinuation of isolation, our closing date was cancelled and pushed out further. Even so, upon arrival the office staff were very uncomfortable and forced masking in order to proceed with closing tasks. We did not feel welcome or respected and will certainly choose alternate more professional agency to meet our future needs.
