  Oh my goodness! Where do I even start! My wife was written a personal check for something she sold to someone at a rather high value. We went to the bank that the buyer held an account at. They refused to cash her check due to company policy that wouldn't allow over a certain amount. We made the hour long trip to Colorado Springs & took the chance at Collegiate Bank and Jacob was sooooo helpful that he restored my faith in banks. I told Jacob that I have hated banks for years due to how banks work & can scam an account holder out of their hard earned money. Jacob reassured me that Collegiate was not like that. After dealing with Jacob... I opened up an account with Collegiate and am very pleased with their hospitality and demeanor! They made me & my wife feel like we actually mattered! I would refer anyone to this place!

  Be careful when dealing with the Bank and it’s employees. Although they are courteous when speaking to them don’t believe anything they tell you unless it is put in writing and notarized. They promise you things and then when it comes time to fulfill their end of the agreement, they say it is unfortunate but they can’t. So although you do your part, they fail to do their part. BE WARNED! Get everything in writing.
