Thank you to Cold Stream Farm for the beach grass! They asked how big of a space I was planting, and gave me their suggestions. Prompt delivery, unbeatable prices, and great customer service!

Do not order from Cold Stream Farms. I ordered over $166 of trees on August 8, 2025. They said they would ship them in time for the fall planting season, but here it is October 10, and they not only have not arrived, I have not heard anything from this vendor.

Have been a customer for a few years. Good products until last spring. Ordered 10 winterberry -- 5 were dead when I got them home. Went through the scratch test and sent them pictures within the 30-day time limit. They agreed to replace 5 this spring. But none of them survived winter and it's too far to drive to Freesoil to make it worth my time. Disappointed!

Just got 4 gray dogwood, haven't planted yet so can't really comment in that regard. But damn, the shipping was as much as the sheubs! Because of that, I was expecting plants in containers. These are bare root, which is fine in and of itself. But a usual benefit of bare root is super cheap shipping. Seems like kind of a rip off, to me. Hopefully the dogwood will end up growing well, at least.
