  Went to Clearwater branch tried to cash a Cogent check. Extremely poor service told to sit in a chair and wait. Why the check was verified. This experience was a minimum of ten minutes. Total attitude by teller. Horrible service. Total lack of professionalism. Place felt like a mortuary. Would never open an account at this bank.

  We are very happy with this bank. The personal service is excellent. The staff at the branch is very knowledgeable and always willing to help. This is the way I like to do banking with a very personal touch.

  The Clearwater branch of Cogent Bank is very customer-oriented. The team consistently meets the unique needs of our business, and does so with friendly professionalism. Each member of the Clearwater team is a pleasure to work with, and I can highly recommend this branch for any small business. The team provides concierge style banking service to our business and makes sure we know that it is available to assist whenever needed. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

  The short: excellent banking experience both on personal and business accounts. Phone support is superb. If you need a bank, I highly recommend Cogent. The long: I have been working with the Clearwater team for several years now. I didn't even know this bank existed until a colleague suggested it for a business account. I made an appointment to meet with the team, told them about what I was looking for and they delivered big time. It is impossible to compare the level of service you get from the Cogent team (Seanea, JJ, Aaron, David and Jackie) to any big box bank. It truly feels like an old-school banking relationship where the banker knew about you as a person and was able to support your personal and business growth. Do yourself a favor and get an account with this bank.
