  We moved into the area within the past year and needed pool cleaning services, so we used Coastal Pools. While the service itself is good when you finally receive it, the communication and professionalism from the office were disappointing. Despite signing our contract in early May, we had difficulty getting to the office during business hours to provide the first payment due to our demanding schedules. By the time we paid, we were told they still couldn’t open our pool for another two weeks (in total a month later) due to lack of staff availability. This meant we paid for the entire month of May yet received no services at all. When I asked if our contract could be adjusted to reflect the actual start date of services, the office staff flatly refused. The person I spoke with was not only rigid in her response but also unprofessional in tone, telling me it was essentially our fault and offering no solution. As a new customer, that left a bad impression and I do not trust them to provide any more services for us. The on-site service team seemed competent, but the lack of flexibility, poor communication, and dismissive attitude from the office outweighed that. We cannot recommend Coastal Pools and plan to take our business elsewhere.
