- EAEdie AchenbachFeb 22, 20251.0My experience with these people was AWFUL!! I went to Clear Choice in June 2024 for a hearing test and they ordered hearing aids for me. They made molds of my ears and sent the molds to Resound. The hearing aids fit so tightly that it was extremely painful to remove them from my ears. Clear Choice made an unsuccessful attempt in the office to reshape the hearing aids to fit my ears. They still didn’t fit and the alterations caused them to not charge properly. Clear Choice returned them to Resound to have them remade and billed me for their failed attempt to reshape them. I feel that it is up to Clear Choice to provide hearing aids that fit and it should not be up to me to pay for them to try to fix something that was incorrectly made. An offer was made by the doctor to call the hearing aid manufacturer to ask for an extended warranty but I declined in fear that I would be charged for that phone call to be made on my behalf because this company bills excessively. After discussions with the billing department the owner called and was dismissive of my concerns and my out of pocket expenses. Having hearing loss is disheartening and being taken advantage of makes it worse.
- RWrich waldoFeb 8, 20235.0So got them today. Original post is below. I cannot say enough about Dr Stein and the staff. I felt very comfortable and every question was answered. On my way home I was listening to the radio and I wanted to mute my hearing aids to see what the difference was. Needless to say it was a moment. I said out loud, OMG that is how I used to hear?! Anyway my wife and I couldn't be happier. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. -Rich Waldo Went there today. I am 52 years young and was worried about possibly needing hearing aids. The doctor and staff were excellent. Everything was explained and I left there feeling very well served. Excited to get my new hearing aids.
