The guys did a great job, cleaned up the work area amazing, and were very fast and professional. The crew started at 7am and were done by 10am, including the stump removal and clean up. Abraham, The foreman was very courteous and the sales rep John is awesome. Jonny is also very responsive to emails and easy to work with, really good communication all the way from the proposal to the scheduling and invoice. Will be using again later this spring. 5/5 stars, highly reccomend them for any of your tree work needs.

Frequently Asked Questions About Clean Cut Tree Service, Inc.
When should I consider tree removal?
Tree removal is typically a last resort, but certain circumstances necessitate it. Our arborists can assess whether removal is required. Reasons for tree removal include: if the tree is dead or dying, poses an irreparable hazard, causes an obstruction that pruning cannot correct, crowds or harms other trees, has significant root issues, needs replacement with a more suitable specimen, or must be removed for new construction. Our team prioritizes the safety of you and your family. If you suspect a tree has become unsafe or are facing an emergency, please contact us immediately. We have the expertise to handle even the most challenging removals efficiently and professionally.
What season is best for tree service?
Our services are available year-round. During summer, which is the tree's growing season, it's easier to evaluate tree health and perform minor trimming or thinning. However, the dormant stage from November through March is optimal for more extensive pruning, benefiting the tree's health. This period also offers better visibility for our work along roads, as trees are leafless. Additionally, the absence of leaves and dormant landscaping elements like flowers or lawns simplifies our job, allowing us to work more efficiently.
Does Clean Cut Tree Service do pruning?
Yes, we offer pruning services. Regular pruning enhances tree health, restores shape, and extends lifespan. It involves removing weak, dead, diseased, or insect-infested branches to prevent storm damage. Pruning also reduces wind resistance, decreasing the risk of breaking limbs. While homeowners can prune low branches, large tree pruning should be left to trained professionals due to the need for specialized equipment and safety considerations. Incorrect pruning techniques can expose trees to disease or even cause death. Our experts ensure proper pruning methods are used to promote tree health and healing.
Do I need fertilization and mulch?
Fertilization and mulching are beneficial for tree health. The ideal time for fertilizer application is during the dormant season (November through March), with spring and early summer (April through June) being the next best period. We typically avoid fertilizing between July and the first hard freeze to prevent frost damage to new growth. Mulching helps tree growth by reducing environmental stress and maintaining a stable root environment. It should be applied 2-3 inches thick, extending as far as possible from the tree, but kept 1-2 inches away from the trunk to prevent collar rot. For watering, we recommend deep, infrequent watering in the morning hours to promote deep root growth and minimize evaporation and fungal risks.
What is stump grinding?
Stump grinding is a specialized process that removes tree stumps and roots 8-20 inches below ground level. This procedure is typically performed on the same day as tree removal, using a specialized machine operated by a professional. Stump grinding is beneficial for several reasons: it prevents sinkholes, is more efficient and safer than manual stump removal, creates natural mulch for landscaping, and removes the stump below grade level. The grinding machine's cutting teeth are designed to efficiently pulverize both wood and soil, resulting in a mixture of wood chips and soil.
Can I keep the firewood from trees you cut down?
Certainly, you can keep the firewood from trees we remove. We offer additional services such as cutting, splitting, and stacking the wood for your convenience. Please inquire about pricing for these and other services we provide. Additionally, if you require more firewood, we have it available for delivery.
Do you do lot clearing?
Yes, we provide lot clearing services. Clearing an overgrown lot enhances property appeal, maintains good neighborly relations, and deters pests. Our lot clearing process reveals the full potential of your property by removing buckthorn and brush thickets. We can handle lots with varying degrees of brush and tree density, using our equipment to grind vegetation and leave behind a mixture of mulch and sawdust. This byproduct often serves as a soil enhancement, but we can remove it if desired. Our thorough clearing process results in an unobstructed property, which is particularly appreciated by builders.
Do I need to be home when the estimate is given?
Your presence is not required during the estimate. If you're absent, we'll leave a card in your mailbox or at your front door to confirm our visit. You'll receive a written estimate for requested and suggested tree work via email or fax, according to your preference. If further discussion is needed, we'll follow up with a call. Once you approve the estimated cost, contact our office to schedule the work. For estimates with multiple price options, please specify your selections. We encourage you to contact us for a free, no-obligation consultation. We're confident that our quality, reputation, credentials, and fair pricing will make us your preferred choice for all future tree care needs.
