Ray was awesome and very informative. He didn't rush us and provided us with plenty of knowledge and pointers about the purchasing process. Beautiful manufactured homes.

Friendly staff but manager Dave Hoefer all about selling expensive manufactured or Modular homes... staff will bait you in with a good price then when time to sign purchase agreement add in new amounts of money.

Would give 0 stars if possible. I absolutely do NOT recommend Clayton Factory Direct Homes for the following reasons: • My home was not done when promised • Phone calls were not returned • My salesman went on vacation, home was delivered with huge mistakes and no one contacted me after I made them aware of the problem (the day it was delivered), so it SAT until he returned • Once delivered, my home came with 200 AMP electric. I ordered 100 AMP because that is what the park requires • It came with an electric furnace. I ordered gas • Clayton tried to charge me an additional $3000 because the salesman supposedly undercharged me • The master bathroom toilet won’t fill with water. I was told that I would have to wait until I turned in the initial list of problems/items before they would send someone out to repair it. • The workmanship is terrible. No pride in their work. Walls are marked up. Woodwork is cheap and on one straight piece it looks like it was broken off and not cut. The ends are jagged. • The walls are full of “pock” marks • The strips that cover the walls seams are all loose and need regluing • The back door came down the road from Indiana to Ohio with black tape on it to keep it closed because the frame is wrong and the door wouldn’t shut OR lock • The siding on the back of the house is very wavy. Someone said it has a bad stud • I took a week off work to move in, have appliances delivered, and have cable installed. I got some things moved in but NO cable because no electric • I have been told to be patient! I have spent 7 weeks on my son’s couch My new Clayton Factory Direct Home has sat on my lot for 28 days as of 10/4 waiting for: • 100 AMP Service • A gas furnace • Back steps • Electric service-held up because of200 AMP box • Gas service-held up because no furnace • Cable service – can’t install without electricity • Eves troughs and gutters • Skirting- can’t be put on without the inspection which can’t happen because there is no electric or furnace Now you tell me, would you buy from here?
