Kristie acted like we were bothering her and I’ve never been to a business where they were not eager to sit you down to help you. She acted like I was supposed to do everything. I asked her if she could call the lady at Vanderbilt homes with our financing while I was there and she said yeah you can call her. I wanted to let them know which house we wanted so she could let us know a payment. We were already conditionally approved. So half the battle had been done. But she didn’t act like she wanted to sell me a home so we went to another dealer and bought our home same day. You won’t sell houses like this Clayton Homes of Sanford.
- JJJunoAug 3, 20252.0Our family has been in our home from Clayton Homes almost 2 years. I regret buying from Clayton Homes. Our home is falling apart. I have always lived in double wide homes my whole life, but never have I been in a home so cheap. Starting from cabinets, showers, flooring, ceilings cracking, drawers falling off, walls you can’t get yet at all or put a pice of type on the walls (birthday party’s) , strips falling off the wall, bathtubs stopper broken and I could go on, you name it, it’s broken. Probably in the next 5ish years we will have to start rebuilding this home. It’s heart breaking because we will always be in debt with this home. Please don’t buy a Clayton Home.

But I have had the pleasure of working with Jason Burgess and he is awesome. I am a first time homebuyer so it can be very overwhelming and nerve wrecking but Jason helped me through the whole process. He constantly reassured me and I felt safe working with him. I highly recommend working with Clayton Homes of Sanford if you’re looking for a great first home.
