A 5 star rating is inadequate. My experience with Clayton Homes of Waynesville was stellar from first query to receiving keys to my home. Each person I encountered, from the Waynesville site staff to contractors, was respectful, professional, and got the job done. However, Carl, my sales agent, was EXCEPTIONAL!! For well over a year I asked questions and looked at models. Carl treated me with courtesy and answered each question promptly. Never did I feel as if I was taking up his valuable time during my inquiry. He guided me through each step, and after signing for the home, he kept me updated on next steps to expect on a weekly, or more often, basis. No thanks to unusually wet weather, there was a delay once the home was on my property; but again, Carl kept me in the loop and patiently answered all questions. I feel the staff went out of their way to make sure the keys were received to accommodate my schedule - and celebrated with me. Once again, a 5 star rating seems so inadequate for the dedication and hard work of each person. From this most grateful homeowner - thank you!
My wife and I recently purchased a house from Clayton in waynesville, the process was way faster than we thought it would be and the staff was super helpful! We have been moved in about a month now and love it! We got the pleasure of working with Carl Yarbrough he was super helpful and kept us in the loop every time there was a change or update! We definitely recommend going in and asking for Carl!

We have had a wonderful experience with Clayton homes of Waynesville. We closed on the loan in February and moved in August. If you are looking for a mobile home stop by and talk to Sam, he is great!

If I knew this would be this much of a hassle, I would have gone with another company. Our septic wasn't even turned on when we first moved in, constantly asking them to fix what was broken when we moved in and waiting for them to come. A year later, they still haven't fixed what we asked and now are saying our warranty has expired. Even though it’s been asked for over a year and they always have an excuse. “Someone quit, they are new, they didn't write your name down, the tile came to us broken, etc.” very unhappy with Clayton Homes.
