    We had such a great experience with Clayton Homes in Fort Smith! Thank you to our salesman, Chris Neely, for his outstanding service both before and after the sale. We’ve been in our new home for about 3 months now and we absolutely love it! Anytime we’ve had an issue, Marty has taken care of it—he’s so kind, gives me tips, and just does an excellent job quickly. I greatly appreciated him taking the time to explain everything to me. Thank you as well to Margaret for helping get things scheduled smoothly. We are so grateful for the entire team and highly recommend Clayton Homes of Fort Smith!

    I had a great experience with Anthony. The rest of Clayton homes I cannot say the same. We have a 1 year warranty through them and have had major issues with the home since the day we moved in which has been brought to their attention countless times and nothing has been done. We have a lot of leaks in the home that is causing water damage and some parts are starting to form mold, our master shower leaks and the water runs straight into the wall and that wall has water damage and mold forming (picture shown below) they sent their service person out which is a guy named Marty he came out twice to “fix” the problem which has not resolved the issue and to top it off he wasn’t aware that we had cameras and we caught him talking poorly about our shower and admitting he didn’t want to crawl in there to fix the issue (mind you my shower was clean the only thing was my toddler took a shower in there the night before Marty came out and he pulled body wash and shampoo bottles out of the shower caddy and onto the floor and a scrub brush that I use to clean the shower, picture shown as well). We also have a major leak in the kitchen sink that is leaking into the underbelly and the water has been sitting and absorbing into the insulation ( I have pictures of how bad the leak is but I cannot upload videos to where you can actually hear the water gushing under the house) there is another leak that I cannot figure out what the cause is, there are two spots outside that constantly holds water. It also looks like some of the plumbing wasn’t even connected. We had a storm and some how water got into the house and there was a massive puddle under the heat pump and the ac unit that was leaking into the hall which has also caused water damage and water was even coming from the ceiling/light socket (pictured below) they sent someone out and I believe fixed where the water was coming in from but did not address any of the water damage. The guest bathtub holds water in the drain and doesn’t drain all the way. (pictured below as well but it’s hard to tell there is water in it) They also claimed they would send the factory out to check everything out and fix everything but that has yet to happen. There are also a ton of minor issues with the home but the ones listed are the most important. We moved in December 2024 and here we are in May 2025 and nothing has been addressed or fixed and most importantly my son who is not even 2 years old has been to the er 3-4 times since moving into this home, before moving here he has never had to go to the er for anything let alone have respiratory issues and every time he has been to the er he tested positive for rsv or some type of respiratory infection each time I have told the doctors he has seen that we recently moved into a new home that has been exposed to water damage and is starting to form mold, Clayton is also very aware that my son who is not even 2 years old is living in the home and still have not done anything about fixing the water damage or mold problems. Keep in mind we have a 1 year warranty through them and I believe they are holding out as long as possible to not have to pay for these issues and go through the headache being I have been constantly talking to them about these problems since the end of December and nothing is being done, we are already in May and the warranty with them ends in December. I would never in a million years wish this upon anyone and would highly suggest to not go through Clayton homes, we have spent so much money on this home and for it to already have water damage and mold which is going to continue to spread is just gut wrenching and heartbreaking, to have so much trust in a well known company just to be done this way is absolutely devastating and sickening.

    ill start off with the positive here, which was the closing process was easy. and mike was super. my house was delivered and set up timely. and heres we go with the bad.. and we knew there would so some repairs just from transport, that i understand. but there was damage done to the roof, a spot i cant even reach but when i told someone at claytons homes the response made me feel like they were trying to blame me for the damages because the repair guy had already been out once and didnt see it. so i didnt appreciate being made to feel like i damaged my own BRAND NEW house. the repair guy came out at least 3 or 4 times to fix things that wasnt done over a span of Months, one being the outside siding on the house was all bubbles up and not fitting into place, i assume from transport, he "fixed" it and for a short while it was fine, and now its hang off again, i. had to have a plummer come out because the cheap fitting they used for piping under the sink had busteded causing water damage and mold, the main water shut off back in the laundry room had done the same thing expect that was ALOT more water all over my house, the guest tub we dont use because it wont drain and has been a problem draining from the very beginning, the plummer also looked at that. had to have a repair guy come out more than once for the dishwasher. ALL of our trim has come off or is bubbled but the BIG ONE the one thats got me set on fire for how mad i am and has prompted this review is that i have not even been in my home 2 years and my ROOF AND DOOR FRAME are LEAKING with all the rain we have had. it leaking somewhere around the stove vent, but you can see the water marks around the staples in the cabinet and water was literally pouring out of my cabinet, i have videos and the door frame is leaking dead center on the top behind the trim. I HAVE NOT EVEN BEEN IN THIS HOUSE 2 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!! and paid way to much money to have the problems iv had, and it had Literally Been one problem after another. ill never buy from clayton homes again and i wont recommend them either. im pissed!!!!!
