  My mom bought a home from these people. It is very depressing to listen to her after the traumatic event they’ve suffered through. They lost their house this summer from a fire. I was at work when she called me and told me her house was burning. I was so curious but confused. I asked, “Is it burning because it’s so hot since you’re in Arizona? Or is it burning because it’s on fire?” That was exactly what I said. She told me it was on fire and that she had all the animals inside, but the kids were out. After that, she told me she had insurance, and she was at least excited that they would have help getting their house up and running again. She’s taken in kids from my sister who hasn’t been able to care for them. My mom has adopted all of them. She’s in her sixties and doesn’t have very good knees. My dad is also in his sixties, heavily dependent on a biPAP machine, and struggling with COPD. They’re raising these kids with everything they have, even after their home burned down at the beginning of June 2025. They’ve done everything they could. They have insurance. They paid for the home, and it was delivered to the property, but it’s taken so long for them to even get into it. These people are so uncommunicative, it’s ridiculous. When they were selling them the home, instead of being honest that they couldn’t get it set up in an appropriate time, they should have told them to look elsewhere for something timely. Right now, they’re showering using a hose that they turned into a makeshift shower they built by the school — because the kids are all under the age of fourteen, and it’s starting to get cold as fall sets in. What they don’t understand is that people who’ve lived through trauma are already in survival mode. Losing a home only exacerbates that trauma. Instead of seeing dollar signs, they should see humans. It’s ridiculous — and I’m ashamed of Clayton Homes because of this.t

  BUYER BEWARE! We Gave a deposit of $1000 and we were never able to get in contact with them again! On 8/18 we spent 3 hours with John Puskar completing an application, choosing floor plan, cabinets hardware, ect., we gave a deposit. Since then we have called multiple time and sent emails. We have yet to hear from him or anyone else since 8/18! Today is 9/27! Do not give Clayton homes a dime of your money!

  We had a great experience working with Joseph! He helped us look at several manufactured homes and was incredibly knowledgeable and patient throughout the process. He explained everything clearly and made sure to answer all of our questions even ones about lots and loan options. We never felt rushed or pressured, and his guidance really helped us feel confident in our decisions. Highly recommend working with Joseph if you’re in the market for a manufactured home!

  We are absolutely thrilled with our new home from Clayton Homes. And we want to thank the entire team at Clayton Homes. But we are very thankful for the support we received from Joseph Vaughn throughout the entire process. Joseph is knowledgeable, patient and truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt confident and informed. He took the time to understand what we were looking for and helped guide us to the perfect home for our needs. He was responsive and truly made us feel like a priority from our first visit through to move in. He made what can be a stressful experience feel manageable. As with any project there are the usual hiccups, and we did encounter what we felt were a few hiccups and challenges along the way. Joseph and the Clayton team were quick to address our concerns and ensure to the best of their ability everything was resolved to our satisfaction. We love our home and couldn’t be happier with the finishes and colors we chose. We are truly grateful to Joseph and the entire team for helping us turn our dream into a reality!
