  If buying land home package…note that Land construction prices are too high with the company Clayton uses. Seems as if that’s where the cost is made up from because their homes are affordable, otherwise. Ask for the land proposal. You might be surprised at the charges for an installation of an electrical pole, for example. Be sure hold off on agreeing to anything until you see it. The property in question was $15,100 and the land construction cost was $19,100, for example. Clayton has a company they deal with specifically for land construction but advises you can find another company. However, there are time limits of course because of the land has to close by a certain date.
