  If I could give them a minus ten I would. This company is absolutely horrible. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. We have had nothing but issues with these homes and they knew about them and never repaired them. We bought two new mobile homes and they are nothing but junk and Clayton does not stand behind their disaster of a product. I am not sure that any mobile home company is any better because they feel they can just take advantage of people who cannot buy stick built home. I don’t care if I have to fight them to the day I die. I will. We bought these homes so our children would have somewhere to live that was affordable. Now, the one trailer that is a year old; the floor is about to fall in and they knew about it before the warranty expired. Still nothing. I have read several issues with terrible construction and leaks that several consumers have had and they have done nothing. If anything I hope I can get lead charged to protect people that Clayton thinks cannot protect themselves. I am not one of those people. They will learn eventually that they cannot take advantage of people. The way they do business is disgusting and they should be ashamed of the way the do business. Crooks! Also, I believe they make up the “good” reviews they get because their product and customer service is garbage. I hate the fact that we purchased from Clayton.

  Gena was simply the best! She was patient, attentive to all of our questions and always took our calls! Please go see Gena at Clayton Homes of Beaufort. She knows all about these homes and can make recommendations that you never even thought about!

  It took half a year to close. They kept on asking for the same paperwork over and over again, after we closed, it's been 2 months and skirting has not been done, initial seller representative whased his hands and states it's no longer his department..... On top of that, they will not haul away debree from the old mobile home, I will attach pictures so you can see. You better hire someone to do it. Overall, it takes forever. They are very responsive before you close. Once you sign, you are pretty much on your own. They need someone to follow thru from beginning to the end until everything has been settled down. They also dont cover a lot of damage due from the manufacturer or " as is " if you buy from a parking lot. Please always ask for a new one to be shipped, even tho it might take way longer for it to be finalized. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PERIOD. I am still risking them not following up due to such a review. I just dont want anyone else to be misled, and if they do decide to buy a home from them, they are fully aware of what they are purchasing. I am up to answering any questions. Thank you
