    If I could give a minus I would. Absolutely the worst customer service by the VP. Rude, dismissive, disrespectful. She flat out said " I don't know if the check is real"...this was about a check from our lawyer out of a trust account. She put an unreasonable hold on our funds. When we went in today to close our account She was again rude, dismissive, disrespectful...and incorrectly put the the reason for closing our account, she said it was an unused account and we made her correct it to poor customer service as we'd stated.

    Bad experience thus far. Pretty sloppy bank. Was told, 'we want this to be your main account' Well, not with this horrible service. 1) Opened new account. Employee made me wait 2 weeks for debit card because he 'forgot' to turn in paperwork. 2) Same employee didn't double check the email address he typed in, had it wrong, still can't online bank. 3) Went in to branch to figure out online banking problem. She seemed competent enough, but took correct email and said 'I got this'... I left, still can't online bank At least she told me I needed to enroll in eStatements. So when I come in to close my account. Don't be too surprised.

    I switched to CIB after leaving a big bank, and have appreciated the degree of concern and care found at this bank. Deposited checks take a little longer to clear, but that hasn't been too much of an issue. Employees are professional and friendly, and they also have an excellent customer service team consisting of real people you talk to in person, not just a hot line.

    Best bank ever! You are not treated like a number at CIB, you are treated like family. As a new customer they helped find the best options for me when I opened my accounts. Yesterday my purse was stolen and we called them right away. The speed in which they sprung into action was outstanding! Ashley and Johanna really made me feel like everything was going to be okay. I was so frightened that the thief had all of my banking information and they took care of everything. My husband was out of town and they even took every measure to make sure that he was able to access our funds while traveling. I left the bank today feeling safe again. Thank you CIB for including us in your family!
