Amazing experience, Alfonso was very professional, handled an exchange with expert care, and assisted with patience on another purchase, highly recommend! 😎

I’ve been to the Christian Louboutin store in Highland Park plenty of times, but this was hands down the best visit yet. Alfonso was so welcoming and made the whole experience super fun. He had us laughing the entire time. It was such a good vibe, and we left with two amazing pairs of shoes and a huge smile. If you’re heading there, definitely ask for Alfonso!

I am extremely disappointed recent events that have taken place at Christian Louboutin Highland Park. As someone who has long admired the brand for its craftsmanship and luxury, I expected a high level of professionalism and courtesy — and current encounters have been quite the opposite. My boyfriend has been a loyal customer of this company for over 10 years, and until recently, he's always had a positive experience. Unfortunately, that has changed. Nicole Riviera and Alfonso have given continuous issues. During his recent visit, he simply went in for an exchange. He was greeted with a cold shoulder and attitude from Nicole. The situation escalated to the point where the police were called — without justification, and entirely due to discriminatory assumptions made by the staff. People cannot continue to weaponize the police against Black men. Mind you he was shopping with his 17 year old daughter. What’s even more disappointing is that the decline seems to be consistent, not just a one-off situation. We used to recommend this company to friends and family because we believed in the quality of their products and service. Now, we find ourselves questioning whether I want to continue shopping here at all. From the moment he entered the store, he was met with dismissive attitudes and a clear lack of willingness to assist him. Staff members seem to go out of their way to ignore black people while providing attentive service to others who enter the store after. Being judged based on appearance is deeply disheartening and unacceptable. What’s most troubling is that this wasn’t just bad customer service — it felt like discrimination. No one should feel unwelcome or looked down upon in any retail environment, especially not at a luxury brand that prides itself on exclusivity and elegance. Louboutin must do better. True luxury is not just in the product, but in how you treat people. This experience has made me seriously reconsider supporting the brand going forward.
