  Prices are real reasonable $30 bucks and me and my wife had a great meal she had the breakfast and I had the lunch it’s was very good and delicious

  After reviewing the drink specials I ordered a brown sugar cinnamon latte. I didn’t really taste any brown sugar cinnamon. I really had a hankering for that flavor. I chose the half classic breakfast which includes one egg, two strips of bacon, hash browns or fruit and toast or pancakes. I’m glad I got the half. I ordered my egg scrambled. The egg had liquid on the plate and seemed undercooked. I asked for crispy bacon and it was cooked perfectly and they tasted great. I chose fresh fruit over hash browns and it consisted of cantaloupe and honeydew. The fruit was juicy but lacking in flavor. The restaurant should think about serving other fruit. I chose pancakes over toast and the pancakes were served hot and are very filling. The restaurant is very homey and what you expect from an established restaurant on The Hill. Dainna was my server and she was great. She treated me like I was family that she liked. They have a parking lot and there’s plenty of street parking around the restaurant.   Normally I love Chris', I really do. Today, 10/17, something was just... off. Short staffed?? I hope things improve. The macaroni in the mac n' cheese was underdone, and the mashed potatoes were cold, which is interesting considering it took much longer than usual to recieve our food. My husband asked for well done veggies in his burrito, but the onions were crunchy and mushrooms tasted barely sautéed. Hash browns were undercooked and not seasoned at all.

  What a meal! Took a little while to come out but it was worth it. Very generous serving of chicken livers. If that's not your thing, my partner's Country Benedict was also really good. We'll be back soon!

  Local breakfast spot on the South side. Lots of menu options. Family oriented but they still have a full drink menu. They have a parking lot and there is Street parking…so crowded outside that we still had to circle a few times to find parking. It was cool though since we didn’t wait once we walked inside. I wouldn’t drive across town to go here but I’d definitely stop in often if I was closer.
