Feedback Regarding Our Visit on September 22, 2025
Hello, I’m writing to share the disappointing experience my pregnant fiancée and I had during our visit to your establishment on September 22, 2025, around 12:30 PM. We were greeted promptly and seated, which we appreciated. However, after being seated, we waited approximately 5–7 minutes before a server approached us to ask if anyone had helped us.
During that time, another server passed by our table several times without checking in. We placed our order: I requested the green chile skillet, and my fiancée ordered a banana shake, blueberry pancake, and the torta (carnitas style with rojo sauce, no queso fresco, substituted with mozzarella). Unfortunately, the shake didn’t arrive until the rest of the food did, and we also waited an additional 5 minutes just for water.
What stood out most was the lack of attentiveness from the staff. The bartender/manager was present when the shake was rung in but chose to take a personal call outside the building instead of assisting or communicating with the team. As a result, the server had to prepare the shake. The torta had to be sent back because the cheese was missing and the tortillas were cold. My dish was also disappointing—the pork tasted more like beef, the potatoes were undercooked and lacked seasoning, and I couldn’t finish it despite being hungry.
Both my fiancée and I have over eight years of experience in the hospitality industry, so we understand that mistakes happen. However, we gave multiple chances throughout the meal, and the service continued to decline. Sadly, this visit ended with my fiancée becoming ill immediately after leaving, and I experienced stomach issues myself.
This experience was not only frustrating but felt like a complete waste of time and money. We will not be returning. Thank you for taking the time to read this feedback.
