So sorry but the seasoning on the chicken is WAY too much. The chicken itself is very good. Hard to appreciate underneath the coating of the seasoning.
I tried six different sauces and honestly really didn’t like any of them and I have a very broad taste pallet.
The fries were sugary tasting. I didn’t finish the chicken and I didn’t finish the fries. And I could still eat more.
But, The mac & cheese is absolutely delicious . Please back off the seasoning on the chicken.
Chicken Guy! completely blew me away from the first bite to the last. The chicken was insanely crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside (literally perfection), and don’t even get me started on the sauces… they’re next-level. Each one has its own flavor personality, and honestly, I could dip everything I eat in them from now on.
The whole vibe of the place is so upbeat and welcoming the staff were super friendly and made the experience even better. You can tell they actually care about what they’re serving and about their customers having a great time. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back before you’ve even finished your meal. 10/10 can’t wait to come back!

It was our first time coming here. The cashier was super friendly and gave great advice in which sandwich to choose. I had gotten the bourbon brown sugar bbq sandwich. It was absolutely delicious, the chicken had a nice crunchy taste and the toppings and flavors were spot on. My son enjoyed the tenders, he said they were delicious. Sky was absolutely amazing. She was very friendly and super sweet. We will definitely be returning here again! Thanks again Chicken Guy!
We found out that chicken guy had gluten-free options and we were so well taken care of by the night manager that we have become regulars. Tonight, I found out her name is Sky (Cielo) And not only is she a joy, but everyone on her staff has been kind and helpful.
We tend to show up right before closing because of our commute and no one is ever frustrated, the place is always immaculate and we are greeted as if we were the first customers of the day.
I have nothing but nice things to say. Thank you for having gluten-free options, thank you for having amazing staff and thank you for treating us kindly, even when we’re skating in right before you close on our way home.

I heard about Guy Fieri's shot at a fast food place that specializes in all things chicken. I was even surprised it opened in the northernmost part of Tampa considering there aren't any other locations in the state except Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and Jacksonville. You won't be finding these on every block like Chick-fil-A. In an already saturated market for chicken, I was skeptical despite the impressive 3K+ reviews in such a short period of being open. On our way home from Legoland, I suggested to the wife that we stop at Chicken Guy and give it a shot. Our son loves chicken tenders no matter where they're from, so he needed no convincing tonight.
Upon entering, you're hit with a very cool, laid back ambience, music is alternative rock from the 2000s and 2010s, very reflective of Guy's (and myself's!) generation. Dylan took the order and brought it to the table. Very nice guy! He forgot our son's fries and fruit cup, but that was no big deal. He got those items ordered back to the kitchen right away. Cielo (the nicest lady you'll ever meet in your life!) brought the forgotten items to the table and chatted with us for a few minutes and mentioned a few things about the food and the sauces especially.
Yes. This review is about food after all. So let's talk about those chicken tenders! There are tenders, and then there are Chicken Guy tenders. You have not had a real chicken tender until you've had one of theirs. Why? That crispy breading with the slightest crunch that is clearly seasoned with some secret blend of spices that turns into a flavor explosion for your taste buds. Dip it in their house made honey mustard which is unlike ANY honey mustard you've had in your life! That flavor combination of their seasoned tenders and that very unique honey mustard is most truly a treat for your palette. Even as I type this out, words cannot describe the flavors. PDQ? Nothing on these guys. Chick-fil-A? Keep walking. Raising Canes? (They're right across the street from Chicken Guy), they're a joke. Do yourself a favor. The next time you want chicken, go to Chicken Guy. Forget any other chicken joint exists, because these guys just set the platinum standard in all things chicken in a fast-casual environment.
Thank you again Cielo and Dylan for making my family's first visit to Chicken Guy a memorable one. We will be back for more.
