  My three sons have all attended the Olney Chesterbrook Preschool over the course of the last six years. It’s difficult to overstate how kind and caring every individual teacher has been to each of my children over these years. I have witnessed how much effort has been put out by teachers and front desk staff to accommodate diverse needs, learning styles and temperaments (including those of my own children) to ensure that all children have a chance to grow and excel in a loving and tolerant space. Separately, I would like to call out how well the teachers at the school have prepared my children for their transition to elementary school and how they have positively impacted my children’s confidence and ability to engage cooperatively with others. Chesterbrook has truly been a staple in my childrens’ early growth and I cannot recommend it enough for anybody looking for a caring, safe, and informative preschool community.

  We love chesterbrook! My son was struggling to talk and socialize before we started and now he has exceeded all of our expectations. He loves all his teachers (Stephanie, Martha, Sherri, Dillini, Courtney, Christine, and more!) and even all the other teachers and administrators know him by name. It’s such a relief to drop him off every day and know he’s safe… all the learning activities they do are an amazing plus.

  Chesterbrook Academy has been a wonderful place for our child to learn and grow. The early drop-off is a huge help for our family, and Ms. Martha, Ms. Christine, Ms. Stephanie, and Ms. Sofia go above and beyond to give each child attentive, caring support. The classrooms are safe, engaging, and well-organized, and the outdoor space is perfect for active play. Management is truly involved and partners with parents to create the best experiences. We also love that photo memories and daily reports of our child are shared each day—it keeps us connected and informed. We’re so happy to see our child growing socially, emotionally, and academically. We highly recommend Chesterbrook Academy to any family looking for a nurturing, high-quality preschool.

  Our 2 year old as been going to Chesterbrook full time since January. Drop offs were challenging for a while but everyone, especially Ms Martha and Ms Christine (and Ms Sam and Mr Richard), have been there to take her and now the mornings are good. She likes to sing the songs she hears during the day. We are happy with the attention she has been given and friendships she is making in Room 1 with Miss Stephanie leading the way. She will continue to go to Chesterbrook during the school year and up to pre-k! We also have our Kindergartener in the before and after school care which has been great for two busy working parents. She has always made it to and from the elementary school! She is also in the summer camp program and has loved all the field trips and opportunity to use the pool.

  Chesterbrook has been really great for our 2 year old. She became very social after attending for about 6 months which is what we aimed for. Every day when we pick her up she is asking to come back again to play with her friends!
