Very friendly and helpful directors, you can tell they care. Teachers we have had are friendly and kind. My son tells me he loves his teachers and asks to come to school.

First thing first, I was welcomed with bubbly acceptance and my questions got answered (so I thought) .. about my concerns for my son attending cool ok. Principal was very inviting, ok all set right? Wrong… Second… I asked to have my child enrolled the following week. Cool no warning, No like look I’m letting you know this will happen with hidden fees this is what you’re going to have to pay..?! I come in the following week… Son had an absent day missed enrollment right so, I came in that morning after absent day.. wasn’t greeted or directed to what class my son would be in. Red flag, ok I barely was let inside the building the whole time my son was enrolled?! Stood at doors waiting to be opened… Principal acted like I knew what I was doing and where I was going!? I looked for her inside another classroom still no oh hey hello how are you glad you’re here nothing!? So got me thinking like ok something is up, I get blindsided with fees the next day.. I had no idea about.. and not even the simple fact that the program I’m in didn’t mention,, but the simple fact that this lady seen I’m a single parent put not a single job phone and address down etc( Attending school soon) they thought I would be able to pay these fees on a fixed income?? Not reassurance like oh I’m sorry I apologize..? Not nothing for this happening!?Then my son only been at a daycare for four days. Why is he contagiously sick? Why are parents sending their children in daycare while they’re sick and spreading to other children!??? No cleanliness I’m assuming because he wouldn’t have got sick ,?! Horrible embarrassing experience I ever had to deal with in my life! This facility needs proper training on how to show empathy towards others. Ms Michelle, very kind person and others that were in my son’s classroom. I respect you for greeting me and helping my son get through his days attending there. Thank you to them only.

We’ve had our two children at Chesterbrook for a year and a half and are very happy with the fit for our family. Staff are amazing- shout outs to Elizabeth, Shawna, T’onna, Kyra, Rachel, and Crystal in particular- and really help the kiddos settle in and feel comfortable. They genuinely feel like partners in how to best educate and prepare our kids for school and for life. Very nice that they offer Soccer Shots on site, and love the summer camp activities/seasonal fun that takes place. Tabbie and Victoria are great leaders too and stay in regular communication with families. Thank you Chesterbrook!

Our child has been with Chesterbrook College hill since approx. 3 months old. Just as any parent, we were selective about where our child would receive care. Upon our initial tour we were greeted warmly, introduced to staff and teachers, and given a great overview of what to expect. Upon enrolling our child, we felt an immense sense of relief, knowing they are in good hands. In infancy, Ms. Carol and Ms. Cassidy were wonderful; personable, loving. As our child grew into the next classroom, teachers Ms. Lisa, Ms. Shayla, and more, exhibited such wonderful care for our child. Mornings can be rough for our child and the teachers mentioned offer compassion, reassurance (to myself and my child), and comfort. Ms. Tabbie (principal) truly advocates for her students and their families. We can resume our daily responsibilities knowing our child is in great care (and in a very secure building!)

I just watched my five-year-old burst with excitement at the sight of her school bus. My breath caught in my throat as she ran to me with open arms, squealing in delight. With my mind racing from the spontaneous onset of emotions, I immediately thought about her preschool. Chesterbrook Academy is not just a preschool. The entire staff becomes extended family; our family quadrupled in size overnight. When Nova was a participant in occupational therapy, her teachers provided us with a stream of updates. She walked for the first time in her classroom, and Marina captured it all on video for us. They are all that special and fiercely dedicated to their craft. Before she was diagnosed with Celiac disease at the age of 2, Nova was constantly sick - throwing up, GI issues, fevers. She was home a few times a month. We couldn’t have gotten through those times without the full support of the school. Each teacher again acted as any extended family would - offering their knowledgeable and full support. Our child has spent approximately 8,600 hours at Chesterbrook. For four years and three months, the halls of her school have been our second home. Her developmental milestones were celebrated by all. We collaborated on problem-solving, and they were a wealth of information when we approached them with urgent questions about child-rearing. Her pre-k teacher, Miss T’yonna, was painting rocks for Nova’s classmate one day. The rock was emblazoned with the phrase “Chesterbrook Made Me”. It was another moment when I felt my throat close up. She couldn’t have said it better. In a final note to Nova on her last day, she wrote "Don't dim your light" - this kid was meant to shine like the supernova she's named after. I can't wait to watch her achieve great things, and she's guaranteed an amazing cheering section thanks in part to her Chesterbrook teachers. Thank you Tabby, Tanya, Ruth, Marina, Sara, Kate, Leah, Carol, Victoria, T’yonna, Lamar, Darlene and all who helped us "make" our girl!! #MADE
