  I was craving a cheesesteak sandwich and this place hit the spot. I saw the poor reviews but I gave it a try anyway. I will definitely be back. The cheesesteak sandwich was excellent and fresh, the fries were fresh and hot. This place is very clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. As I sat and ate my lunch I watched many customers come and get their food, everyone was happy and no one was complaining. This is a nice place, I will be back.

  Love the cheese steaks here, fries were extra jait like I asked. mango Lemonade was excellent.

  The front of this store is a pigsty, and is an embarrassment to the neighborhood. There are literally mounds of garbage in the exterior crevices of this building, between the front lawn and Charlie's building exterior, and all along the drive-thru. If this is how they keep their front lawn, god knows what the kitchen is like. I talked to the manager of this location, and she said proudly that they just had someone "pick up out there today." The lawn service apparently ran a lawnmower over the front parkway grass plot, but any garbage that was on the lawn became caught in the mower blades, and became confetti, scattered all over the lawn and sidewalk. The service didn't bother picking up any of the debris in the corners of the lawn or along the drive-through which were still strewn with litter before and after their visit. There is so much garbage on the front lawn of this Charlie's property that it blows to the neighboring properties, Burger King, and west toward McDonalds. Today in the McDonald's parking lot, there was a huge 3 x 4 carton with "Charlie's" printed on the side of the box Apparently the wind had blown it out of their garbage enclosure, the doors of which are flung open for anyone to rifle through. The city of Oakland Park code enforcement has been notified of garbage violations. What an embarrassing dump.
