- AGANGELICA GREENEJun 14, 20253.0Based on a few coworkers’ recommendations, I had to see for myself. I wanted to love Charley’s Philly Steaks…there’s definitely potential, but I left still hungry. The chicken teriyaki didn’t wow me; it was extremely salty, and I only managed two bites. My fries were cold, and the Sprite tasted like the machine was overdue for a refill. It was the lunch rush at the mall, so the staff was understandably busy, but customer service could use a little boost. I couldn’t get anyone to help me with a straw, and the dispenser on the counter was empty. Not a total deal-breaker, just not the tasty experience I was hoping for. I’ll probably give them another shot—maybe with a different sandwich and outside the 12–1pm rush!

Dry, flavorless, tough like rubber — it reminded me of overcooked cafeteria meat from a bad high school lunch. Not a hint of seasoning or care. I took two bites and had to throw it in the trash. And for $18.99? This is a complete scam. I’ve had gas station food that tasted better than this. If this is what Charles Steak House considers acceptable, they should be ashamed. I wouldn’t feed this to my dog. Never coming back.
