  "Old Coupon, New Name, Same Great Spirit" I stopped by Charleys Cheesesteaks today with a surprise from the past, a coupon from the Charley’s Grilled Subs era that didn’t have an expiration date. Truthfully, I had no idea they had gone through a rebranding. I always thought it was the same Charley’s that had been at Westmoreland Mall for years and apparently, it is, just with a fresh name. At first, there was some hesitation from the staff, which I completely understood. It was an old coupon, and they weren’t sure if it was still valid. But they took the time to call the manager, and in the end, they honored it. I ended up just paying for fries, and they covered the drink. I really appreciated the kindness and willingness to go the extra step. It’s rare to see that kind of customer service anymore. I’m glad I didn’t just toss the coupon and glad I didn’t make a long drive only to be turned away. The whole thing brought back a little bit of nostalgia, and I thought that was worth sharing.
