I am this writing sherely on the customer service we received from one of the hostesses. My husband and I are here on a conference, and we came in to eat dinner. The hostess, I don’t know who she was, was a young woman, took us to the bar area and sat in there. I went back to the front and ask if we could sit somewhere else, that I was the wrong person to sit in the bar, that I couldn’t even have a piña colada if I wanted to, they made me sick. My husband is also a pastor and that’s just really not the environment we were hoping to be in. The young lady then looks at me and says “OK… If you don’t even want to be in a room so you don’t even have to look at it, we’ll take you somewhere else.” She then took us to a room that had two chairs, the one table in the room that had two chairs that was a very small table when there were other couples in there eating at table with four chairs and there were empty ones available. My husband is a tall man with broad shoulders and we very much felt like she did that on purpose and so we just got up and left. First of all, we should’ve been asked if it was OK if we ate in the bar area, and second she shouldn’t take someone whom it’s obvious that they would not fit well in that small of a table area and put us in those when there were bigger tables available. There were other couples at the tables with four chairs and there were some more empty ones in the same room. There were also some booths that were empty. I do not feel like going to a nice restaurant, or what seemed like a nice restaurant, and be treated the way that we were. I often give good reviews, but just based on the service we received from the hostess tonight, I can’t. My husband and I got up and left the restaurant. The hostess then said as we were going out, knowing we didn’t eat and knowing we didn’t stay, you all have a good night! I am not in the mood to put up with snarkiness and being treated with disrespect, especially when we’re prepared to spend $150 on a meal.
