  I recently adopted a 9 year old Poodle/Shih Tzu mix after I lost my 13 year old German Shepherd almost 4 years ago. I've always had large breed dogs so this is quite a new experience for me. The only thing I knew was that my little Valentine would need grooming but other than that, I was frankly clueless. So I happened to read a lot of great reviews on Nextdoor that were posted by clients of Champ & Charlie's Grooming Salon and they were all loyal fans of Maarit, they just couldn't say enough about her masterful skills, warmth and kindness to both her canine subjects and their humans! I was quite impressed and decided to check the salon out myself since I live only 3 miles away. I showed up unannounced and was immediately greeted by Maarit and her mom who helps her out. We chatted for a few minutes, turned out we are both from Europe and we both have American husbands. She has such a positive energy about her that even my shy Valentine immediately felt comfortable and safe with her which speaks volumes about her character and integrity! I felt very blessed to have found her because people like her are very rare nowadays! She happened to have an opening that day and she groomed him so beautifully that I almost didn't recognized my little man, he looked so handsome! Needles to say, we'll be her loyal customers for life!!

  My puppy loves everyone here. You can see how much they love the dogs. The store is immaculate and so cute for Halloween! My puppy was excited to get a Halloween treat too!

  This is definitely the best place I've taken my dogs to, I'm super grateful for the way they treat them, whenever I leave them I know they're safe and well treated, and I've never seen my dogs as beautiful as when they come here, Milo, Toby, my husband and I love this place, 100% recommended!
