  Stopped by to see about fixing a storm door handle on a door we bought from Central Shade & Glass over a decade ago. The staff took a look and gave me the missing pieces I needed free of charge. They even remembered my Mom who originally ordered the door from them! Great customer service from this local Yonkers business!

  This is a family shop staffed by phenomenal people. They had stopped stocking glass when I came, but upon hearing my woeful tale of how racoon home invasion had left me needing a pane of glass before I moved to California in two days, Pauline made it her business to take care of me, and Teddy searched until he found a leftover pane in the stockroom. And he gave me music recommendations. I am deeply grateful for them going beyond mere professionalism in my time of need.

When you are searching for the finest in window treatments, mirrors, glass, shades, blinds, etc., this showroom has it all. They accommodate both residential and commercial facilities too. Their skilled decor team will help improve the interior and exterior of your home or business. No job is too small or too large. They will advise you appropriately. Very few companies are in business this long without good reason. Family owed and operated explains it all. Quality says it all. If you have simply or exquisite taste, then you can find it here. One of a kind business. Simply the best!

  I have been working with Ted and Bob Politis for years. This is my goto place for any kind of mirror work, screen repair, window shades, etc. They are outstanding from a standpoint of work quality, professionalism, customer service and understanding the individual needs and different levels of sophistication required by their customers. Their shop is tiny, but don’t let that put you off. It’s just a tiny showroom...their worth is apparent when they do the installation whether window treatments, mirrored doors and walls and a myriad of other new projects or repairs. Their expertise and positive attitude is rare these days.
