  Jordan at the sandwich bar needs to address his rudeness. My husband and I were there to get sandwiches and I politely asked him what kind of bread was behind him, and he threw his hands in the air and said, “I don’t know,” without even knowing which bread I was referring to. I kept on trying to tell him which one but he started to point at breads randomly, repeating that he didn’t know. It was so weird. When I finally succeeded to tell him which one I was asking about, he volunteered to decide that both sandwiches would be made with the same bread — grabbing two without asking if that’s what we wanted or letting us specify the second sandwich. I clarified that one of them will be panini, and he responded, “I didn’t hear that.” I replied, “That’s because you are not listening.” At that point, my husband stepped in to finish our order because of Jordan’s unnecessary rudeness. We’ve been customers for years and have never experienced such an attitude. Central Market should strongly reinforce the importance of respectful and good customer service in order to maintain the high standards. This is not acceptable.

  We paid $95 a person for the German event. I'm not sure what we paid for. There were samples around the store, but they were not exclusive to those who had the tickets for the German event. There was a coupon in the reusable bag, but the cashiers were offering those to everyone. Very disappointing. When we checked in we had to ask how the experience worked and the employees were less than kind and very annoyed. I also had some questions about a recipe card that was given out. When I went to the video referenced on the card, key ingredients were left out.

  I wanted to share my incredibly positive experience at the Central Market in Houston. I'm a daily customer, and the quality of both the food and the service is consistently exceptional. The food at the chef station is always fresh and tastes fantastic. Even with a constantly busy line, the team works incredibly hard and maintains a pleasant and cheerful attitude. I especially want to commend Aaliyah, who works at the chef station. She is consistently kind, helpful, and never seems bothered by my many questions. Her dedication and positive demeanor truly stand out and make every visit a pleasure. I always make sure to tip the team because they genuinely deserve it for their hard work and excellent service.

  Was recently buying a handful of different things and an employee questioned me if the bag I had on my shoulder with electronics , a book , and other random stuff had any store products in it (and I rarely ever have a bag with me when I’m in the store) Meanwhile I’ve seen plenty of people over the past year stick stuff in their bags and just walk out the store without paying . There are like 5 different regulars I can recognize just from being semi observant and casually watching people that I know for a fact do nothing but steal, some of them use bags, some shopping carts, etc . and you guys somehow haven’t caught them but yet you have to bother me (and to make it worse do it infront of other people in public) . Clueless and sad . If something like that ever happens to me again I’m taking pictures of all these people that steal regularly and posting them. You have an older bald guy that dresses in nice clothing but is in fact homeless , you have all different colors and genders that do nothing but steal. You guys are either really bad at your job or you target some people and let others be for some reason . I’m thinking it’s more that you’re simply bad at your job

  Love the variety of food fruits, chocolate, and sandwich options, but my favorite part is actually the bread. Definitely plan to go there more often to get quality sourdough bread.
