  Fantastic restaurant with delicious food for a good price given how expensive things are these days. My husband and I went for a date night on a very busy Friday night (many people in town for Brown/JWU family weekends), but our server was fantastic and we did not wait long given how busy everything was. The food was excellent. The arancini was freshly made and delightful with the marinara (I will have to try a risotto dish the next time). The cocktails are spine-tingly strong in a good way. The entrees were excellent - we had the bracciola and the pollo francaise. The portions were generous (the bracciola was easily 3 meals in one). We will definitely be coming back again!

  We love that Cassarino’s has vegan/vegetarian menu items specifically for us! That is so rare, unfortunately, and it keeps us coming back for the delicious food and choices available!

  This is a great restaurant with excellent staff and good food! The prices are very reasonable and I will visit again for sure. Only suggestion I will make is that they need to replace their silverware. The silverware does not portray the excellence of this restaurant, sadly.

  Never received one person’s take home food - the meal is huge so the leftover was huge. Very disappointing to find it not in the bag once we reached home. Called the restaurant - the hostess was very apologetic and said would contact the manager to see what they could do. Never heard back. Called a second- again promised to return the call but never did. This was my favorite restaurant for special occasions and would bring guests here all the time. I won’t return because of this.

  Ohhhh the Bolognese Lasagna...WOW! Was the BEST lasagna I've had in memory! Incredible, melt in your mouth, must eat it all type of meal! The Chicken Marsala was GREAT too, but that lasagna. Can't say enough. I've never ever had a bad experience here. If you want authentic, fresh, delicious Italian food this is a great spot! Classic, consistent perfection. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Just a true Federal Hill spot. Glad it's still here!
