First time being here for a transfer and i will say that awesome customer service, awesome inventory, and very friendly people. i was in an out in less than 10 minutes or so. I will say also that looking around the store they do have some old school original posters at the store which is awesome to see those historical gun posters. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone. For a firearms transfer, firearm purchase and or ammo purchase.

One of the worst gun shops I’ve been to , owner makes you feel very uncomfortable and stares at you until your out of the store and very unhelpful with questions to the firearms to feel’s like a very tight click even if your a native to Nevada they treat you with the least amount of respect and very ill knowing about firearms

I went to Carson Armory for the first time last week. I found a rifle I liked and bought it. When I came back to pick the rifle up, Eileen told me I could add more, since she had the paperwork for the background right there, if I wanted and I found another nice rifle I liked, so I bought that one too. They were very fair with their prices, the reason I bought 2 from them. And very polite and respectful and willing to help. I also like their inventory. For a small store, they have a lot of good things, even some AR parts, a lot of holsters, scope mounts and some ammo. I'll keep coming back to Carson Armory, even though I live 150 miles from them. If you like looking at older guns, like I do, this is the store for you to check out. They don't have a huge selection, but what they did have was nice quality stuff at decent prices. Thanks again to the Carson Armory staff. You guys are great!!!

They have a good selection of new and used firearms, ammo, targets, and cleaning supply for your gun. Their prices are reasonable and they have CCW classes you can take. Great costumer service 👍👍
Yes, we provide Concealed Carry Classes. Our instructors are certified by the Nevada Chiefs and Sheriffs Association to teach these classes to Nevada residents and non-residents alike. Classes are typically scheduled twice a month on Saturdays. Please contact us for specific scheduling information.
Does Carson Armory transfer firearms?
Yes, we facilitate firearm transfers. We handle private party transfers between Nevada residents and accept out-of-state transfers. Both types require a background check. Please call for our fee structure. It's worth noting that private party transfers between immediate family members residing in Nevada are exempt from background check requirements.
Does Carson Armory offer gunsmithing services?
While we don't provide full gunsmithing services, we do offer certain firearm-related services. These include bore sighting most rifles, mounting scopes, and performing basic armorer's tasks on AR platform weapons and some common handguns.
Can I purchase a firearm from Carson Armory if I am not a Nevada resident?
The ability to purchase depends on the type of firearm and your state of residence. Federal law permits us to sell handguns over the counter only to Nevada residents, though we can ship to a dealer in your home state. For long guns (rifles or shotguns), we can sell to residents of many states, but not all. California residents, for example, are not eligible for over-the-counter long gun purchases from us.
Does Carson Armory take guns on consignment?
Yes, we accept firearms on consignment. Whether you have a single firearm or an entire collection, we're prepared to assist you in selling them. Additionally, we also purchase firearms directly.
I just moved to Nevada. Can you help me register my firearms?
Nevada does not have a firearm registration program for any type of firearm. You're free to own and use your firearms without registration, provided you do so safely and responsibly.
