  I just can’t say enough about how happy I have been using Carlson for my home heating needs. They are so reliable, professional, competitively priced and friendly. Whenever I have a question, Pat, Ashley or Dawn gladly share their knowledge & take the time to explain things. Working with them has given me a sense of comfort & peace of mind as a homeowner:-)

  I gotta say, as someone that owns a business their customer service is about as bad as I’ve ever seen. I would tell anyone and everyone to use a different service.

  I rarely write reviews (and when I do, it’s usually negative) but my experience with Carlson Heating and Air Conditioning was so outstanding that I feel their professionalism, their work ethic, and their dedication to customers should be known. We called Carlson because our old AC system conked out just as the first serious heat wave of the summer hit (back in June). To my amazement, Mr. Carlson himself came out the next day, even though the co. was flooded with similar service requests. Within ten minutes, he identified the problem and gave me a quote for installing a new unit. Again, I figured it would be a couple of weeks before they could get to us, but two days later a very capable two-man crew showed up with a new condenser and had it in place by the next day. The job turned out to be more complicated because the original ductwork was not big enough and had been installed incorrectly by the builder. Carlson could have just hooked up the new unit to the old duct system and walked away but they did not. In the middle of a brutal heat wave, they worked in a burning hot attic to install the correct-sized ductwork in the most efficient configuration. They even fixed the attic exhaust fan which hadn’t worked right for years. I am super-impressed with this company. They know their technology, they stick with their price quotes, they show up when they say they will (a rarity in the Berkshires), and they keep working until the job is done right. It has been a couple of months now and I am happy to report that the new AC system is virtually silent and our house has never felt this comfortable.

  We had a very expensive AC system installed and had problems with it immediately. The installation was not done properly and when we complained we were treated poorly. It has never been fixed to our satisfaction but we had little recourse so have had to just live with it. Now our system needs it's yearly maintenance. After stringing me along for weeks I am now being told that they will not service the system they installed because I complained to the general contractor and wanted the problems to be fixed. Stay away!
