Caring Hands Animal Hospital is a network of eight veterinary hospitals treating dogs and cats in the Alexandria, Arlington, Ashburn, Bristow, Centreville, Merrifield, and Clarendon, Va, and Rockville, MD areas. We are an AAAHA-accredited and Fear Free certified hospital, open six days a week, and offer an array of services including wellness exams, sick visits, vaccinations, microchipping, health and travel certificates, laser therapy, ultrasound, x-ray, in-house lab, parasite testing and prevention, pet dentistry, general and advanced surgery, pain management, and more. In that situation, I felt like I was dealing with a student focused on sales rather than an experienced vet. She was way off on her diagnosis and was playing a guessing game (which would require lots of tests). I am so glad I got other opinions and treatment elsewhere. I do agree with the other posts that this vet just wants expensive and unnecessary testing. It use to be a good place I trusted a while back but I guess things changed. Honestly I believe there is good staff here and they were quick to get me my records. It's just that one experience that makes me hesitant on returning.

- MCMelina CalarcoAug 24, 20255.0Dr. Lua and all of the staff at Caring Hands Merrifield are amazing! Dr. Lua took the time to answer all of my questions about my cat’s dental issues and explained diagnoses and next steps. My very shy cat let them do their exam with no issues.

Luego el asistente veterinario toma sus signos vitales y documenta el motivo de la visita. Después viene el doctor para realizar su diagnóstico y prognosis. Finalmente el asistente regresa con el medicamento y provee la terminal para pagar la consulta.
