I have been going to captain Brian's for a few years now and this was the wordt meal that I've had that was very disappointing the fish and chips for lunch was very small portions and I would have been better off going to McDonald s for the amount I paid 4 stake fries and 2 very small and thin pcs of fish very disappointing don't order the fish and chips save your money21$

When the family is from Maine we have a high bar when it comes to lobster. Captain Brian's knocked it out of the park, Our lobster dinners were delicious cooked to perfection and served hot and fresh. If you want lobster and Bradenton or Sarasota I say go to Captain Brian's seafood you won't be disappointed
This restaurant is amazing in every way, the food was delicious and fresh, the service was great from the moment you walk in. I got to go and select the fish I wanted to eat, all of their fish is fresh and never frozen. I ordered a whole red snapper and my mother got the snapper fillet. For the dessert we got the key lime pie, which did not disappoint. Will definitely not mind the drive from Tampa to come eat real food. Highly recommend it!!!
We ate dinner at Captain Brian’s last week. We met our friends there. I had the Ipswich Whole Bellied Fried Clams they came with potato wedges and cole slaw. Though my clams tasted good they were room temperature even though the potatoes were warm. My husband had the Fish and Chips again though tasty the fish was room temperature it also came with warm potato wedges and cole slaw. One of our friends got the Lobster Special which she said it was very good along with a side of mashed potatoes. Lastly her husband had the Char, which he said was between a white fish and a salmon and was delicious. The Char came with potato wedges and cole slaw.

My girlfriend and I were driving down 41 when we saw a sign that said Maine lobsters, $20 each, dine in only. We were both familiar with Capt. Brian’s because that’s our go to spot for seafood when we’re flying out of town. We also love their stone crab during season. As soon as we walked in, we were seated by a nice gentleman that took our drink orders. Then we were introduced to the lovely Maria who was our server. The lobsters were so good that I ate two. Great service, nice atmosphere, perfectly cooked seafood and all at a great value.
