I have been living here for about 4 years now and have had little to no issues with anything at all. If a work order or maintenance request is put in it is fix or updated within the next 24 hours.(shout out Calixto) We are currently going through a water outage due to unfortunate problems during routine pipe maintenance. Although it is unfortunate, all employees have been working around the clock and going above and beyond to make the best of this situation. It's sad to see people posting mean things about them for something that they can't fully control. This building, while it is beautiful, is over 100 years old meaning so are the pipes. Im sure the employees want the water back on more than we do. I just want to thank Canton Mill Lofts and specifically Zuleika she has been working extremely hard and Tara has been nothing but nice. Keep up the great work and im sorry people have been so rude and ungrateful. Yall are awesome!!

I moved here a few months ago and have had an excellent experience. When my ac went out, maintenance was here in an hour. We are currently experiencing things beyond many people’s control and I just wanted to say how helpful the staff has been during a water outage. Water pipes were being fixed and they apparently came into some issues. I feel as if we were properly communicated with through said issues. Although yes it SUCKS to be without water for days. The staff here are around the clock offering water and food and many other things along with communication whenever they receive it which is outside their normal hours. These things are so far out of the staff here’s hands, but they have tried everything to remedy that and for me that goes along way.

We are currently in day 4 of no water with a solution not in sight until at least day 6. They are trying their best to deal with a difficult situation. I can respect that and what the staff is trying to do to fix it. They are putting in the effort.
My issue is with the corporate decision to roll out an AI assistant in the middle of it. They rolled it out, did NOT clarify that it was an AI and instead introduced it like it was a person, and then in the middle of a crisis it did not properly communicate within the staff that people were requesting water!
For my 4 years as a resident I supported this place and talked it up to my friends. I can no longer do so. Presenting us with a communication method during a crisis that is not actually a communication method is fundamentally unethical.
Shame on you. Be better.

Follow up. NO! My complaint is not the water outage. The staff here did the best they could. My complaint is with the corporate decision to leverage half baked AI during a crisis only to have that AI not be able to do basic customer service tasks. I am not going to go complain to my local office, they have been through enough and they had nothing to do with that.
I want the IT exec who decided to turn me and my neighbors into their AI guinea pigs to grow a pair and call me directly.... as I have already asked for through normal channels. Check the repair logs and messages. You choose not to talk to me about this privately so we get to do it publicly now.

Well where exactly should I begin …. This review will be FAIR ,from someone who’s currently living here at Canton Mill Lofts… Hopefully this can be an in depth review of how it is to live at this location… Firstly I visited this property a few years before actually moving in and was super impressed with the space and all its character , for content reasons ,this was important for me.
I would have to include also probably the biggest perk of living here would be the parks and running trails directly behind the building…Although there are other cons I’ll start with the biggest because I’m not here to nitpick…Respectfully this location needs a do-over meaning complete new staff and new site manager… currently all of the residents and I have not had running water for going on 4 days (today is Saturday Sept 13 ) they are telling us we most likely won’t have water until Monday the 15th … no water from the 9th to the 15th is unacceptable on so many levels… as someone who works early mornings and late nights offering Community PIZZA PARTIES are HILARIOUS …. We have decided to move out a month early I can’t fathom having to actually stay another entire month here… This location needs MAJOR restoration!!!! Now please don’t get this confused this is not the first time this has happened within the 13 months of us living here it’s just this is the first time it’s been 3 + days …. Make your decisions wisely the last thing you want is to drop your kids off for college or to move into a place expecting the basic essentials and having to deal with ongoing issues like this … FUN FACT : when communicating with the leasing office all you get is some automated chat CBT type of response, residential urgency isn’t there … We got hassled for $140 for a clean up crew for telling them in advance, mind you it was AUGUST our lease is up in NOVEMBER excessive text , alerts , emails , calls all for something that was scheduled for months ahead … This place is a money grab paying almost 2k for a place is beyond CRAZY to have no water ….
