  I don’t usually leave reviews, but I honestly felt this one was needed. I brought my pup — my best friend of 10 years — in for what turned out to be glaucoma, a very painful and serious condition. I was already heartbroken seeing her in pain and started crying as I checked her in. The receptionist was kind and understanding, but the experience with the Dr. Pugsley was something I’ll never forget. Instead of showing compassion, I was told that me being upset does not help her and that calling her a good girl only makes her anxiety worse. In that moment, when my baby was hurting and I felt helpless, I was basically told I wasn’t allowed to show emotion or comfort her. That’s not just unhelpful — it’s cruel. No animal parent should ever be told that showing love or emotion for their pet is wrong when their baby is unwell. Pets are family, and they deserve empathy, and so do we as their caregivers. Sadly, that was missing here.

  Dr Pugsley is amazing but they are insanely expensive. Won’t sell me flea medicine until I make yet another appointment for more vet examinations for my animals which are all $100 or more.

  Great communication and bedside manner. I will definitely keep using this office for my kitty.
