Stay away for all Camping Worlds especially Vacaville..They are so dishonest and play games.DO NOT get the Good Sam warranty because it will not cover anything..Manager is a joke, good luck with customer service ever returning a phone call..PLEASE GOOGLE reviews and look on Yelp and Reddit. We made the mistake of buying a used LANCE trailer that the pop out broke and cross member only after the 4th time using it..After further inspection you can clearly see that the patched things to try to get away with it..They will charge you for a inspection before you even purchase it..Join the group called Camping World Sucks on Facebook...Will not be long before Camping world is no longer in business..HORRIBLE HORRIBLE company to buy anything from...Sales department will roll out the red carpet and then it is BYE BYE...Most dirty sales and warranty and service department you could ever do business with..Run fast from all Camping Worlds..Big fat ZERO STARS.

We had an incredible experience buying our trailer at Camping World in Vacaville, thanks to Chris Harless! Chris, a fisherman, father, and musician, was exceptionally helpful and family-oriented. He listened to what we wanted, laid out all our options clearly, and made the entire family feel comfortable throughout the process. He’s a genuinely cool dude who went above and beyond to find us the perfect trailer. Highly recommend Chris and this location!

One of the worst customer experiences we’ve ever had. We visited Camping World in Vacaville to purchase a travel trailer. We arrived around 10 a.m. and told our sales agent, Ashlee, that we were looking for a trailer that our new Ford Bronco could tow — and that we were paying in cash. Ashlee was friendly and showed us several options. Once we returned to the sales office and decided on a trailer, we were shocked to be told we still needed to fill out extensive, personal financial forms — even though we had no intention of financing. We were uncomfortable with this, but were told it was “company policy” and we had no choice. From there, the experience went downhill fast. We were pressured repeatedly to buy an optional “Camping World package” that we declined multiple times. The sales process dragged on for hours, with various staff members stalling, pushing extras, or seemingly confused about where things stood. At nearly 4 p.m. — six hours later — the sales manager finally asked how we planned to pay. We told him again we were paying cash, via our debit card. That’s when we were told they don't accept debit or credit cards for this kind of purchase — only physical cash. Why weren’t we told this earlier? We were stunned. The banks were about to close. After scrambling to find a bank that was still open, we managed to withdraw the cash and rushed back before they closed for the day. When we returned, the manager seemed surprised we’d actually done it — as if he hadn’t expected us to follow through. But the delays continued. After another hour of waiting, we were taken to the back office where they counted the money, only to tell us they didn’t have change. Eventually, they accepted $17,000 in cash and allowed us to pay the remainder by debit. We thought we were finally done — but no. They told us we couldn’t take our trailer home that day. Even after paying in full, we were told it would be treated as a “deposit” and we’d have to come back in a week to pick up our trailer. By this point, we were beyond frustrated. We felt manipulated, disrespected, and completely misled. After discussing how poorly we were treated, we decided to request a refund. That was three weeks ago. Despite multiple calls and promises of a callback, we’ve received no communication and no refund. This has been an exhausting, stressful, and dishonest experience from start to finish. We spent an entire day at Camping World, were pressured into financing, delayed repeatedly, misinformed about payment options, and after finally paying, we weren’t allowed to take our trailer home. And now we’re fighting just to get our money back. Avoid Camping World in Vacaville at all

We came here at the beginning of the month to look at large motor homes. We walked through the front doors, walked right past the employees sales offices and into the back and were out there for almost an hour. No one approached us, there were many sales representatives just standing around in their offices. We left without help and we found our large dream motor coach. We then returned this week and when we walked in and started walking to the back the receptionist told us we couldn’t and we had to wait for someone. So as my husband sits to wait for someone I wander the store. People came in after my husband and they were helped ahead of him. They had a sales representative touring them around. When I went back to see if we had been helped yet my husband wasn’t there anymore waiting so I asked reception if he was in the back and they looked it up and said yes he is with X. They instructed me to go ahead and go find him…… I found him but there was no one helping him. There was no X. I asked where X was and my husband told me NO ONE was helping him, they helped the people after and left him sitting there. We found our dream travel motor home but it won’t be bought from here.

The sales guy Chris H is great. Responsive and really worked hard to get the deal done at a fair price. We also purchased an upgraded extended warranty which we were told was bumper to bumper. Also, a new awning was to be installed. However, we told the sales manager that we absolutely needed to pick up the unit on Monday. We were promised that the unit would be detailed and ready to go. We sold our other unit and we’re relying on them to get the job done. When we arrived, we were told that they had personnel problems and couldn’t get it done. After a significant amount of drama, they got the safety issues done. From the jump, the tv/dvd player doesn’t work and the fiberglass edge on side of the unit is visible. Water can easily get into the sidewall and nose. We made an appointment date for the repairs and awning replacement. The service guy immediately told me that the warranty won’t cover anything without even checking to see what was wrong. AND, he wants to charge me $100 to diagnose a TV system that I already know is broken and was apparently broken when it left the lot. 4 hours later and zero communication later I check in. The service tech is no where to be found. A nice young lady tracked down my what was going on. They ordered the wrong awning, they haven’t looked at any other issues. Furthermore, they haven’t communicated with the warranty company and that won’t happen until the end of the day. I’m beyond frustrated with camping world Vacaville.
