  I advise everyone to stay away from Camping World of Oakwood. I found a dealer from a different state that offered the very same model and trim for$ 57,995.00 and Camper World Oakwood wanted $66,995.00 camping world advertises that they will meet another dealers price. Well the so called salesman told me that they are not in business to loose money and good luck with buying from another dealer, so I ask for the general managers name and number and also corporate headquarters number which he refused to supply me. I found corporates number and I called and filed a complaint. A couple of days later and another gentleman text me saying that they would meet the price. So we have paid around 3400.00 for a hitch and installation and $1000.00 deposit. We are now tomorrow will be 2 weeks and no hitch. And I read the quote more closely and seen that they had actually not matched the price and I done some research and found out that the cannot legally charge a prep fee or delivery fee.   If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely WORST experience I've ever had buying anything. Salesperson was great, although walking you around and showing campers is about all they do. Once the finance director (Jason) gets a hold of you, the lies begin. Will sell you everything under the sun, tell you it covers everything and assures you peace of mind. Until you need them. I purchased a camper in February. The weekend it was delivered instantly had issues with leaks, then the awning broke on the 4th time out. Flooding from a cracked tank. Outside lighting stopped working. All of this reported. Happens to be that mine is set up in a permanent setting on the lake, and no one in this service area will deal with Good Sam, or Assurant without requiring full payment up front from the customer. That is how bad their reputation is. That is NOT what the so called warranty states. Now I cant get service, cannot get a phone call back, and I cannot get them to cancel this worthless 14k BS insurance policy sold as a warranty. CONSUMER BEWARE. Jason will flat out lie to you, Jimmy the service manager won't return a call. Horrible experience, do yourself a favor and don't waste your time here. Notice how they won't address any of the negative comments on here.

  WORST SCAM EVER Bought a 100K fifth wheel brand new and its legit totaled due to leaks and damages and they refuse to fix it, Im stuck with it. Happened within first month owning it and now its rotted, These people are awful Im devastated. Don't waste your money here. They Do NOT care. Just wanna sell you. They were aware of it all as soon as it happened and well within warranty. I even got an extended warranty as was lied to I didn't have one Until the other day. Other words to say... 20 year loan im stuck with Because all the floors are rotted and lots more... NO one cares to do the right thing

  Poor customer service!!! We applied for a new camper and didn’t hear back for 3 days and I ended up call them. The camper was only 12500. But they added a lot of charges to it. We decided not to deal with them and took forever to get our deposit back. Go to Macie Price
